Overview

Freight.Co was founded in 1978 by ex-management of a leading multi-national forwarder to provide a more flexible operation that could react to the varied demands being placed on the forwarding industry by the evolving North Sea Oil Industry.

Thirty years on we still firmly believe that this model offers a true alternative to the larger, multi-national organisations.

We have longstanding Agency Agreements, both nationally and worldwide with each individual agent chosen for their expertise and reputation in their particular location.
Technology now allows the smaller forwarder to compete on a level playing field with all the operating systems necessary to offer a complete logistics package, which can be tailored to the clients individual needs.

Having identified the specific needs of our clients, we launched on a programme of lateral expansion, which has resulted in The Freight.Co Group of Companies. This template allows us to offer a unique and completely “in-house” logistics package to industry.

Another area that has stood the test of time is the importance placed upon staff and training and we are proud to boast a very low employee turnover. This has resulted in “experience-in-depth” in all divisions throughout the group which in turn cultivates a better understanding of our clients business, whilst nurturing longstanding business relationships
